About Us

When Health Ekmanska Health Center is a well-established unit located in a pleasant, geographically advantageous environment in the Örgryte district near the center of Gothenburg.

We have about 10,000 registered residents of various ages and over 30 employees. We have a regular health center clinic and offer child health care, asthma/COPD and diabetes clinics, hypertension clinics, allergy clinics, menopause clinics, osteoporosis clinics, and geriatric clinics, as well as a psychosocial/rehab team consisting of psychologists, rehab coordinators, doctors, and care coordinators for people with mental health issues.

When Health has invested heavily in digiphysical working methods, and in October 2023, When Health opened its first digiphysical health center in Kallebäck. Ekmanska and Kallebäck have a close collaboration and a common operations manager.

We work for good communication across professional boundaries and strive to utilize the massive knowledge that exists behind each employee. We actively work to develop the business and have several ongoing improvement projects.

About the Job

Your tasks at the health center span a wide range of work and encompass general medical competence with patients of all ages and situations. You will work with outpatient care and digital healthcare meetings in primary care.

You and your colleagues form a team with the opportunity to develop the business. We achieve success together in a stimulating learning environment with open doors and a welcoming climate. The role also includes mentoring ST and AT doctors as well as medical students; it is an important part of our mission to educate tomorrow's healthcare professionals. We offer you a varied job with good development opportunities, for example through continuous further education of ten days per year.

About You

You are a licensed physician and have specialized training in the field of general medicine with permission to work within the Swedish healthcare system. Language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale, are a requirement for the position.

We are looking for someone who can work independently but still wants to participate in the development work of the organization. In your work, you will meet many different patients, so it is important that you are attentive and have a good approach. You enjoy teamwork, and for you, it is a given to collaborate with colleagues and other partners in the work.
